The Story Behind Psycle

I taught indoor cycling for 10 years before opening YOGAthletix and focusing strictly on yoga and ballet barre fitness. After going through bi-lateral hip replacement surgery last winter I turned to indoor cycling classes to help with my recovery. Yoga and BarreFit played a large role in regaining my hip flexibility and cycling provided me with a lower impact option to get my quads, glutes and hip flexor muscles back into shape. Once I started cycling again it reminded me how complimentary indoor cycling was to my existing yoga and fitness routine. It was then when I turned to Jamie with the idea of offering an indoor cycling program at YOGAthletix. Jamie, who’s also a regular “spinner” agreed that it was a fantastic idea.

It didn’t take long for us to put our minds together and develop this awesome indoor cycling program, which we have named Psycle – mindful ride!

Psycle is designed to give riders the sweaty lower body and cardio workout that is expected from an indoor cycling class while providing inspiration that can be taken off the saddle into everyday life. Each mindful ride will empower you to find strength, to break through boundaries, and to transform your body from the inside out.

Better your day, better your life, get psyched!

We are thrilled to bring this new program to our existing clients and excited to see our YOGAthletix community grow.

Psycle classes begin on November 16th 2015. You can see the schedule online and sign up for classes now!
